Late-second-century Gnostic writing; alleged account of Christ's life, used by members of a Gnostic sect known as the Cainites. Only one copy has been located, in which large portions are missing. According to Irenaeus, Gospel of Judas presented Judas Iscariot as the hero of the Jesus story.
