As a part of Masonic ritual, an ‘‘apron of the Rosy Cross’’ is given the man being initiated as a Rosicrucian knight. This apron, to be worn over the right shoulder and under the left arm, is the ‘‘Badge of Knighthood of the Rosy Cross of the Royal Order of Scotland.’’ See also Rosicrucians.
